The annual China (Guangzhou) International Auto Show (Auto Guangzhou) started on Nov 24th, 2009 in Guangzhou, China. Great Wall Company brought 11 flagship models and 4 reserve models to the auto show.

The exhibition models include CH031, Hover M2, Florid, Coolbear, GWPeri, Cowry, Hover 3, Mini SUV, Wingle and special vehicle – Sailor Motorhome; The reserve models include C class sedan – CHC011, high-end SUV - Hover 7, GWKULLA which represents the latest new energy orientation, and Hybrid Hover anatomy car.

With regard to the spare parts Great Wall Company put out GW4G13-VVT which was recently awarded as “‘Chinese Heart’ Top 10 Engine of China in 2009”and GW4D20 diesel engine both with its own intellectual property right.

Totally new motile sedan – CH031 1.3L and 1.5L were launched in domestic and overseas market simultaneously. Both Manual transmission and CVT versions are available. As the global strategic model CH031 is double cabin 5 – door sedan, and equipped with full Aluminum VVT engine. It boasts fashionable and sporty outline with the proportional complete vehicle body. Developed fully in accordance with Euro V standard CH031 takes the absolute lead in the same class in terms of its safety performance.

The year of 2009 sees a new leap of Great Wall Company. Under the adverse condition that the nation wide sales network and spots are insufficient, as a new comer in Sedan field Great Wall Company has accomplished striking achievements. From Jan to Oct, 2009 the sales volume amounts up to 170,000 units increasing by 50.7%, among which the domestic sales volume increased by 118%. Despite effected by the global financial crisis Great Wall Motor still kept the 1st position in terms of export volume in China continuing its leading place in the export volume and export amount.

According to the project made by Great Wall Company a totally new model – Hover M2 will be launched into the market end of this year following the debut of CH031 on the Auto Show.
