On September 26, 2024, the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia held a reception to grandly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Faisal, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia, along with senior officials from government departments such as Foreign Affairs and Internal Affairs, military officers, diplomats from various countries, representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, people from various sectors of Saudi society, and around 800 representatives of overseas Chinese and Chinese-funded institutions in Saudi Arabia attended the event. As an outstanding representative of Chinese manufacturing, GWM was invited to exhibit, showcasing its innovative technology and excellent products, demonstrating the extraordinary strength of Chinese intelligent manufacturing to Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, delivered a speech at the reception, reviewing the 75-year history of the Communist Party of China uniting and leading the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in relentless struggle, and highlighting the remarkable achievements in economic development, technological innovation, and other fields. He also introduced the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, emphasizing that Chinese-style modernization will provide more development opportunities for countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia.

At the reception, six Chinese car manufacturers jointly exhibited, fully showcasing the latest achievements and technological innovations of China's automotive industry. The GWM booth, in the center position, featured the GWM TANK 500, which shone brightly and, with its strong brand influence and powerful product capabilities, became the focus of attention. Officials from various levels of the Saudi Embassy, representatives from the business communities of China and Saudi Arabia, and attendees all stopped by to view and take photos, expressing great interest in Great Wall Motor's products.

Through this National Day reception event, the ambassador showcased outstanding representatives of Chinese intelligent manufacturing to Saudi officials and business representatives from both China and Saudi Arabia, promoting the Belt and Road Initiative.

Additionally, their Saudi distributor ADMC has established a local national warehouse in Jeddah, covering over 10,000 square meters, with a parts availability rate exceeding 95%.
